Library to Host Ragtime Concert

Mark Birnbaum will present a program of ragtime piano music in the library community room 2PM Sunday, October 30th. Concert is sponsored by the Metuchen Public Library Board of Trustees Endowment Fund.

Dr. Birnbaum received his master of arts degree in composition and a doctorate of musical arts in composition from Columbia University. He has made several hundred appearances on the Joe Franklin Show as staff pianist. He has performed at libraries, churches and restaurants, and has performed in such venues as The Donnell Library, Birdland,
