Pianist Brings Ragtime To Library

Mix a little Scott Joplin, Eubie Blake and Irving Berlin, and the result is ragtime specialist Mark Birnbaum. He will recreate the music of these legendary musicians, as well as play original compositions, in two afternoons of lively performances at the Queens Library.

Showtime begins at the Jackson Heights Branch, located at 35-51 81st St, on Saturday August 26th at 2pm. Birnbaum's encore performance will be held at the Forest Hills branch located at 108-19 71st Ave, on Saturday, September 9th at 2pm.
